LG SK9500: best LED LCD?

The LG SK9500 is LG's best LCD-LED TV for 2018-2019 with 4K resolution. This model is really expensive and is only behind the OLED range. The available screen size is 55 or 65 inches since the best current TVs are not offered in smaller sizes. The LG SK9500 has an excellent image quality thanks to the FALD system in the SK9500 and with 'Nano Cell' technology that improves colors and contrast. The panel is 10 bits and although the panel is IPS it promises a good level of contrast and greater uniformity. The processor is the Alpha 7 very powerful but not the best: the A9 is only incorporated in OLED TVs. The number of zones that LocalDimming controls is 96. We hope to see the number of zones of the panel that are controlled. One of the most remarkable aspects of the LG high range compared to its competitors is the HDR compatibility; HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision and advanced HDR. The Smart maintains the webOS system that works well and incorporates the voice recognition ThinQ AI Google Assistant.

Our opinion LG SK9500 (veredict):

Our opinion about the LG SK9500 is good but its price is too high, the image quality is indisputable and it unites the angle of vision of the IPS with the NanoCell colors and panel uniformity, so if LG manages to control those promised 96 zones with the LocalDimming and we add the NanoCell technology with an IPS panel this will be the best LCD LED of the year 2018. LG has one of the best but the best Smart system, of the OLED with better value for money and with This model can get the best LCD-LED that has to compete with the Sony XE9005 and the Samsung QLED. We hope your sale price goes down to recommend this or other of the NanoCell 2018 models.
