The Samsung QLED Q7FN TV is one of the high-end 2018 LCD-LEDs that can be purchased. The image quality is good, we highlight its brightness level with a higher brightness and more intense colors thanks to the so-called quantum dots. The panel is 10-bit EdgeLED VA, of course compatible with UltraHD 4K and HDR10 resolution, so it offers good contrast, not as good as the Q9 series for backlight control. The Q7FN is well equipped with 4 HDMI ports and 3 USB ports, includes all the necessary tuners, including double tuner to record one channel while watching another. All connections are in the One-Connect-Box. The level of Audio is somewhat higher than the competition: 40W. The Smart platform is one of the best: Tizen, and includes some extra news such as Smart Things or Ambiente mode.

Our opinion Samsung Q7FN (veredict):
It is a television that is in the middle point between the price of acceptable LCDs and the expensive Q9F, within the reach of very few. The Q6F would be for those looking for a smaller screen: 49 inches or have a more tight budget. The viewing angle has improved and is wide enough to be a TV with VA panel. As images very similar to the QLED Q8 but not being FALD as the Q9 is behind in quality and uniformity of light. As extras the design is modern and the Smart and some new extras are included, but we do not believe they are decisive factors in choosing the new TV.- Samsung 55Q7FN
