The panel is IPS so it presents a wide angle of view but we do not recommend it if you like to watch TV with the lights off, since its black level is poorer than in TVs with VA panels or of course OLED / QLED . The resolution is the best of the moment: UltraHD, and it is compatible with the best HDR formats; HDR10 and DolbyVision (not compatible with HDR10 +). The image processor is the Alpha7, which is powerful without becoming the best at the moment. The Smart platform is the best, continues in the TOP LG in this aspect and includes the Magic Remote.

Our opinion about the LG NanoCell LG SM8600 / SM8500 is good in general, it is a high-end TV, without being the best, at a price a little high for what I offer. It is a good option for those looking for a good image and a good Smart (one of the most complete), for large rooms where you will not always watch TV from the front. It presents a wide range of colors and compatibility with some of the best HDR content. It is not recommended for those who enjoy watching movies in the dark.
