The Samsung Q80R is a high-end TV 4K, it is an expensive TV. The main features that we highlight are the FullArray panel with 96 control zones that allow better control of light and dark areas. The brightness level is good, more than enough to play the new HDR quality content (not compatible with DolbyVision). The Ultra Viewing Angle technology better the angle of vision, so the contrast and color do not lose strength when we see it from the sides. With all these technologies the Samsung Q80R achieves a brilliant image and with an excellent quality, although behind its best TV QLED 4K: the Q90R with more brightness and greater number of regulation zones, but its price is quite more expensive.
The Samsung Q85R is practically the same TV and only changes the design and some extras such as the One Connect box (connections to a separate box), usually cost about £100 more.

Our opinion about the Samsung Q80R / QR85 is very good, it is an excellent TV with a high price but still assumable. This TV allows you to enjoy all the current contents, good panel uniformity, good viewing angle, maximum brightness, colors etc. In addition, the Smart platform is the best of the moment, the one that is most compatible with all online content platforms.
