  1. Philips has made televisions for as long as I can remember, and I can’t seem to remember a bad one off hand. This unit had an issue with the wireless when I got it, for some reason my router wouldn’t pick the signal up, but enough solve since the router is 19 feet away from it so Ethernet works just as well. We upgraded to HDTV’s when we upgraded to the Hopper from Dish, the old televisions worked just fine but if we have HD capability we should take advantage of it. Now I just have to replace one more television in the house and they all will be HDTV capable without the need for a huge receiver box at each remote television. Although I have enjoyed the Picture in Picture feature a coworker at Dish told me about, last Sunday while I was watching Kansas City get stomped on by Atlanta, I used the other half of the screen to watch The RedZone channel so I wouldn’t miss a a good play through league play.
