The difference is that the new 2019 RU7100 has a bit more peak peak brightness, but nothing that really notice. The price is the big difference between these two televisions. The evolution of technology, color, brightness or angle of vision has not existed in this case, so they are practically the same TV, but the price of the 2018 model has dropped a lot and you can save up to £200 on a 55-inch model.

For us the conclusion is clear, the NU7100 of 2018 costs much less and the quality of image and features are the same, we would not hesitate and buy the Samsung NU7100 during 2019 while it remains in stores.Full review
