LG UN7100: the cheapest 4K we recommend 2020

The LG UN7100 (UN71006LB) is LG's cheapest 4K 2020 TV. The Smart platform is good, although it does not include the MagicControl remote, which can be purchased separately. The image quality is fine for most, the DirectLED panel has good uniformity and the IPS technology allows a good angle of view, although in contrast to the deeper blacks, if you watch movies with the TV turned off, they seem a little gray. The native frequency of the panel is 50Hz, like all low-mid-range TVs. The UN7300 model is somewhat more expensive and includes the MagicControl Controller. This TV is available from 43 or 75 inches. Samsung TU7100: Cheapest 4K 2020 (TU7000)

The Samsung TU7100 is Samsung's cheapest 4K TV of 2020, therefore the first we recommend. The technology of the Crystal Display panel is somewhat better than the previous year, and the Crystal Processor 4K processor improves HDR content a bit, but with a maximum brightness of 250nits it cannot offer the full potential of the best HDR + content. The 50Hz VA panel allows for good contrast and acceptable blacks, PurColor color technology is Samsung's basic. The remote control is the conventional one without voice control but the Smart is the same as for all other 2020 televisions, it works well and is compatible with the main video platforms. Our opinion on the Samsung TU7100 is good, it is good if you want to pay little. This is the TV that we recommend you buy if you want to pay the minimum to get a 4K TV, a good platform to use Netflix, Disney Plus, HBO ... to watch TV and little else. The image quality is correct, if you are not very Freak the image quality is enough (you must ask yourself how many times you have calibrated your old TV). LG SJ850V: NanoCell review IPS

The LG SJ850V is a high-end 2017-2018 TV with LCD-LED IPS technology. This TV is one of the best of the year that presents LG behind the OLED models. The LG SJ850V is a 4K TV compatible with HDR10, Dolby Vision, etc. So you can play all the current high-quality content. Nanocell technology allows you to reproduce better colors and increase the brightness level, ideal for HDR content. The panel is 10 bits IPS so it offers a superior viewing angle to the VA panels and with the local attenuation improves the shallower blacks of the IPS panels, which is especially noticeable when watching dark films. The LG SJ850V is practically the same as the LG SJ810V and the main difference we find is the Harman Kardon 2.2 audio system with 40W and the local attenuation a little higher, the differences are not really remarkable if we don't watch TV in the dark.

This TV reproduces all current formats, offers excellent picture quality and color palette. Their blacks are far from the deepest blacks of an OLED television but they improve the typical IPS. On the contrary it has a wide viewing angle so if you want a very high range model and you need a TV that looks good also from the angles the LG SJ950V is the best of the year, although for us it is too expensive and we recommend Look for a model OLED (2016) with similar price, which maintains a good viewing angle and improves the level of blacks.

The LG UH770V is a high mid-range model with 4K resolution 2016-2017. This TV has the best current resolution, and is compatible with content HDR, where the range of colors is higher. Our opinion on the LG UH625V is not good. This TV has 4K resolution but low-end, this is a model where the best is its Smart platform. The screen is IPS so you do not have a good level of contrast. The best along with webOS 3.0 is its price. The LG LH625V is available in 65 inches so we can buy a large screen with 4K resolution for a fairly reasonable price. Our advice is to buy the LG UH625V for first half of 2017 if you want a 4K yes or yes and your budget is low.

The Panasonic DX780B is a 2016 model with 4K resolution and supports HDR. The Panasonic DX750B is a model 2016 HDR. The Panasonic DX750B and Panasonic TV DX780B are the same with the only difference design. This TV stands out for its excellent image quality and price realization: The panel has Super Bright Panel, Local Dimming technology in a Full / Edge LED panel? VA technology. The Panasonic DX750 is active 3D, it is not the best of TV because it has a little ghosting. Our opinion about the Panasonic DX750B is good, it is a TV with a price corresponding to its value. One of the questions that arise is whether it's worth buying a HDR TV 8bit but the color of Panasonic in recent years is excellent and we believe that if you do not have a budget for HDR 10bit TV, is better Panasonic, that another brand thanks to its superb color reproduction. The Smart has not changed and this TV has the best connections. Our advice is that you should buy this TV if you want a good picture quality above all without spending a small fortune that is what it costs the DX902B. The inputlag for gamers is acceptable and the only con is that in the HDR content with many blacks, the local dimming somewhat flawed.

This model stands out for its innovative design but is actually a TV where the scenes with highlights on dark backgrounds are seamlessly without halo effects. the black level response of the screen is very good. The Smart platform is MyHomeScreen 2.0, it works good but this is not the best. Our advice is that if you want the best current TV can watch the DX902B, but if you want many of the same features but with an innovative design you should buy the Panasonic DX802B.

Our opinion on the LG UH850V is relatively good. This TV is expensive, so it must compete with some of the best models of other brands. The Smart platform is the best in 2016, working fluid, and the pointer is a great success. The picture quality on this TV is 4K 10-bit HDR (8bit panel) so it is ready to reproduce as many colors and excellent brightness. The panel is mounted: IPS so the viewing angle is very wide and the problem often have the contrast if we watch TV in the dark is quite low in this model. The UH850V not up to black level of an OLED but is probably one of the best contrast IPS. Our advice is to buy the LG UH850V for 2016 if you are looking for a good TV for the whole family.
