Our opinion on the Samsung AU9005 isn't entirely good unless you're really looking for a mid-range TV to play games with. It is not a bad TV to watch TV or movies and the Smart platform is the best but the Samsung AU8005 is almost identical and is cheaper. The best we can say about this TV is that the design is high-end, the image is correct and the Smart is good good. If you are looking for a TV to view from the sides, a TV with an IPS panel is better, which have less contrast, less black blacks but instead have a better viewing angle.

The Samsung QN85A is the last one that includes miniLED technology, it does not have the Ultra Viewing Angle and the panel is ADS, something similar to LG's IPS panels. This TV is very different from the rest of the QLED range and we do not recommend it.

The Samsung Q80A is perhaps our favorite this 2021 among the QLEDs. A native 100Hz FALD ADS panel is what we ask of the good TVs of the moment, the only technical weak point for us is the 8-bit panel, but it should not be too important unless you are looking for the best of the best.

The Samsung Q75A and Samsung Q70A are the same, only the design changes. These models are inferior to the Q80A since the panel is EdgeLED instead of FALD, for us an important factor since we lose in uniformity and contrast, although it allows design with thinner panels. They keep the HDMI 2.1 port and the native 100Hz.

The Samsung Q60A is the simplest of the QLEDs, a native 50Hz EdgeLED panel, for us it is not worth paying for a QLED if we have the other low-end specifications instead. It is not a TV that we recommend.

Samsung Q50A is Samsung's new 32-inch bet with QLED technology. The resolution is FullHD instead of 4K. The best 32-inch TV of the year.

Veredict

As a conclusion we can summarize according to our personal experience and our tastes: that the best Samsung TV this year is the QLED Q80A, it is the television that we would buy ourselves, it includes the main advantages of the best TVs (although not all) at a reasonable price . If you are looking for a top top TV we would look for a TV with an OLED panel and if you are looking to spend less we would not pay what a QLED costs and we would look for Samsung's "classic" 4K televisions such as the AU8005 or the AU9005.

The Samsung QN95A (QN94A) is the best TV of the brand with 4K resolution for this year 2021. Samsung's 2020 mid-range 4K TVs are the TU7 and TU8 models.
In this post we explain the differences between all the available models: Samsung TU7100, TU7120, TU8000, TU8500 and TU8510.
All these televisions share the main characteristics: 4K resolution, Smart Tizen, flat, VA panel, HDR, ...

Difference between Samsung LCD-LED 4K 2020 TVs:

The Samsung TU7100is the cheapest of the 4K TV, VA panel with 50Hz refresh rate, does not include the remote with voice control, the color technology is PurColor
The only difference we have found between Samsung TU7120 and TU7100 is the Front color:
TU7105 is Carbon Silver while TU7120is Anthracite Gray.
The Samsung TU8000 has more brightness, a USB port and an HDMI more and includes the remote control with voice control.
The Samsung TU8500 uses DualLED technology with better color reproduction, also slightly more Hz and a design with side legs instead of a central base. The TU8510 is exactly the same, but in white.

Samsung Q800T: Review the cheapest 8K

The Samsung QLED Q800T is an 8K TV for sale in 2020. This is the cheapest 8K TV: Should you buy an 8K TV in 2020? The Samsung QLED Q800T is a QLED, Samsung does not go to the OLED market since they are controlled by its great competition: LG. What stands out the most is the 8K resolution, but we know that resolution is not everything: the FALD panel only has 32/24 control zones according to size, that the panel's 100Hz are only available in 4K, etc. Since there is no 8K content, the processor is one of the most important aspects to convert the images and the processor used by the Q800T is the best from Samsung and works really well. The maximum brightness allows an excellent reproduction of the best HDR content, although it is in this aspect a little behind the best 8K: Q900T and Q950T. The sizes available are from 65 inches and up, really big televisions. The design is really careful.

Our opinion on Samsung QLED Q800T is not good, it is an 8K TV and that is the most remarkable thing but for us it is not necessary to buy 8K televisions today, much less pay what they cost this year 2020 and much less pay for a TV with this new resolution at the cost of other more important aspects such as panel uniformity or panel frequency. Is it an excellent TV? Yes and yes, but we would not buy it

Samsung T5300: best 32 inches?

The Samsung T5300 is one of the best 32-inch TVs of 2020. The resolution is FullHD, the majority of 32-inch TVs you can find are HDReady and there is none that is 4 making it the best 32-inch resolution that You will be able to buy in 2020. The audio is 10W, which is little, but if it is for a kitchen or room, it is enough. The most remarkable thing along with the FullHD resolution is the Smart platform, which is one of the best. The DirectLED panel offers enough brightness to play HDR content (although of course not the best).

Our opinion Samsung T5300  (veredict):

Our opinion on the Samsung T5300 is good, it really is the 32-inch television that we would buy right now if our budget was over £200. It is one of the only FullHD televisions of this size and includes the best Smart platform. These two reasons are more than enough to recommend the Samsung T5300, but ... there is always a but ... we recommend looking for TVs always larger than 32 inches, even if it is for a small room we recommend looking for a 40-inch TV. If you are clear that you are looking for a 32" TV, the Samsung T5300 is the best today.

Samsung Q80T: Highrange at a good price.

The Samsung Q80T is a good TV 2020 from Samsung, It is an expensive television, but it already includes some of the best specifications. 4K resolution and compatibility with HDR content are taken for granted. This is the cheapest Samsung TV that includes a FALD panel, which gives us better panel uniformity, within the FALD panels it is the simplest in control areas, it is less precise so the level of blacks and brightness is more lower than in larger sizes. The panel is 10 bits and offers great contrast, it does not include the best technology to improve the viewing angle
The 49-inch model is somewhat lower, with less brightness and a panel frequency of 50Hz instead of native 100Hz, the audio is also somewhat lower in power and number of channels. The Smart and the connections are good. Available at Amazon.

Our opinion Samsung Q80T (veredict):

Our opinion on the Samsung Q80TA is good, it presents an excellent image quality with both 4K and the best HDR content. We think it is a great option to see in daylight, but also for home theater with the lights off. The Smart platform is the most complete. We can say that the Q80T is at the optimum point in terms of quality-price within the high-end range of 2020 televisions. For gamers we are facing possibly the best TV Gamer of 2020.

The Samsung TU8500 is a mid-range 2020 model at an affordable price. The resolution is what is currently recommended 4K and has HDR compatibility, although it can not reproduce the best content at its best. The Smart platform is the same as in all Samsung 2020 TVs. The TU8500 is a good TV, better to see from the front than from the sides, with 20W of sound power and correct connections, everything you need for a mid-range TV. • Sony XH8096: Sony equivalent, somewhat better overall, better viewing angle and reflections but worse in contrast. Something more expensive.
• Samsung RU7400: The equivalent molding of the year 2019, now cheaper and very similar.

Our opinion Samsung TU8500  (veredict):

Our opinion of the Samsung TU8500 is quite good. This is the cheap mid-range television that we would buy ourselves to enjoy movies, watch TV or use Netflix. A TV without many frills but more than enough for all types of average users. It is fine to play but tb for cinema or to watch the TDT. The main drawback that we highlight is the angle of vision, we do not recommend it for large rooms where the sofas are on the sides since it immediately loses image quality. Otherwise, everything is correct, not excellent, but it is correct.

Samsung TU8000 vs TU7100 our advice which one to choose?

The Samsung TU7100 and TU8000 televisions are the two cheapest Samsung 4K televisions of 2020. In this post we show you the main differences. If you do not know which features are best for you, we recommend you review our TV 2020 buying guide before choosing your new TV.

Both models are basic but include a good Smart, acceptable black level, not highly recommended for viewing from the sides, PurColor technology, 4K resolution, ...

Main differences:
The higher model TU8000 has a little more maximum brightness: 300nits instead of 250nits of the TU7100. It also has a USB port and one more HDMI and includes the TM2050A remote control with voice control

Design:
The design of the TU7100 is more basic than the so-called "limitless" appearance of the TU8000.

Price:
The price difference is small, about ‎£40 in 50 inches and not more than‎ £60 in 65 inches

Conclusion:
We recommend stretching your budget a bit and trying to get to the Samsung TU8000, even the TU8500, which improves some aspects of image quality. Both the TU7100 and the TU8000 option are a good option to have a large TV at a low price and that serves as leftovers to watch TV, Netflix or movies without more.

What is Samsung's OneConnect?

Samsung's OneConnect system is only available on higher-end models, is based on a junction box that is outside the TV, and with a single cable connects to the screen.

This 'one connect' concept also includes the electrical outlet on that single cable, which is why hanging the TV on the wall is much cleaner and easier if you do not have to connect HDMI, Ethernet cables etc.

We can say that it seems to us a great idea, but only useful if you are going to hang the TV on the wall since taking out cables is quite cumbersome, if you are going to use the usual base and place it on a piece of furniture, the OneConnect box is comfortable, but It is also not a problem to make the connections as usual.

Samsung TU8000 vs TU8500: recommendation which one to buy in 2020

The Samsung TU8000 and TU8500 are the two mid-range Samsung 4K televisions in 2020. These TVs are intended for the general public, users who want a good modern TV, with good connectivity, a Smart platform to be able to see Movistar or Netflix and little plus. They are televisions we do not recommend for very large rooms due to their low angle of view.

In general they are two very similar televisions, they share most of the technical specifications: 4K, HDR10, 8Bits + FCR, VA panel, native 50hz, ...

Main differences:
The superior model TU8500 has DualLED technology, which allows for better color reproduction. TU8000 is PurColor. Also the PQI is 2800Hz for the 2100Hz of the TU8000.

Design:
The TU8000 replaces the side legs with the central base of the TU8500

Conclusion:
For us it is worth stretching the budget until we reach the Samsung TU8500, the improvement is little, but being in image quality we consider it a notable improvement. For the rest they are the same TV, if you go to the store and see the TU8000 correctly it is enough and you save something on your budget, although the price difference is not much. Samsung Q95T vs Q90R (Q90T)

The Samsung Q90T / Q95T is the 2020 model and the Q90R the 2019 model. The only difference between the Samsung Q95T and the Q90T is the OneConnect box.

From the outset we must say that both are magnificent televisions, they are within the highest range of current 4K televisions. They share most of the technical features and extras, but the Q90R is somewhat superior, strange as it may seem, the Q95T 2020 TV is more similar to the 2019 Samsung Q85R than the Q90R, although it is really difficult to tell the difference.

Main difference:
The main difference is in the image control zones, the more the better, and the number of attenuation zones of the Q95T is less than the Q90R, so it should have better contrast. On the other hand, the PQI rises from 4,000 in 2019 to 4,300 in 2020, insignificant.
