 Our comparison of all LG OLED TVs this 2021. These TVs are high-end and they all look great. The resolution is 4K and they include one of the best Smart platforms of the moment. LG is the queen of OLEDs and they offer the best viewing angle and also the deepest blacks, ideal for watching movies with the lights off. televisions that work great for all kinds of uses. The price is quite high, between £1,300 and £2,000 in 55 inches.

Difference LG G1 vs C1 vs B1 vs A1

The LG OLED G1 is LG's best TV 2021 and probably the best TV of the year. It has everything you need such as the new HDMI 2.1 ports to be able to play 4K / 120Hz. The EVO panel that it mounts allows it to reach a higher maximum brightness than the rest of the OLEDs. The processor is the best from LG: Alpha 9 image processor. Audio is 60W 4.2. Available from 55 inches.

The LG OLED C1 is the evolution of the best-seller CX of 2020, not gutter with the EVO panel. nor does it have a design as ultra-thin as the G1 but it maintains the HDMI2.1 ports and the Alpha 9 Image Processor. The Audio is 40W 2.2. The C1 is sold from 48 inches.

The LG OLED B1 is one notch below the C1. The main difference is that it does not incorporate the Alpha 9 processor, it comes with a somewhat inferior processor: Alpha 7. Another notable difference is that only 2 of the four HDMI ports with 2.1. It is available from 55 inches.

The LG OLED A1 is the cheapest of the OLEDs of this 2021 from LG, the panel is inferior with native 50Hz instead of 100Hz and has one less HDMI and none is HDMI 2.1, so it is not so good for gamers, the Smart is from last year. Audio is 20W 2.0. It is available from 48 inches.

* The LG OLED CX is from last year (2020) but it is still on sale and is very similar to the OLED C1, with a previous Smart version the differences in image quality are few, very few and can be found on sale.

Conclusion:

For us the LG OLED C1 is the most balanced, if you do not have budget problems the G1 is superior for the panel it mounts, but of course you have to pay for it. On the A1 and B1 they do not convince us and we prefer to buy the OLED of the 2020 CX that will be at a similar price and is higher. In conclusion, the LG OLED C1 is for us the best option to buy a high-end TV in 2021, but we would expect to find an offer for about £1500.

We have chosen the TVs: LG OLED C1, Sony A80J and Samsung QN95A Since they are TOP televisions but without an exaggerated price, they are the best in high-end without going over budget (£1800 in 55 inches.

It should be noted that there are higher-end televisions such as the Sony Z9, QN900A or the OLED LG G1 that we reviewed on our blog, but their price is exaggerated for us and we do not recommend their purchase.

Comparison LG OLED C1 vs Sony OLED A80J vs Samsung QLED QN90A

From the outset, the main difference is the panel: while the Sony and the LG are OLED, the Samsung is QLED. In general, OLED panels are somewhat better for us, with infinite contrast, unsurpassed blacks coupled with the greater viewing angle; the QLED panel offers unsurpassed colors and maximum brightness.

The LG C1 may present some reflections if it has a direct light source, like the A80J and like all OLEDs, the maximum brightness is not its strongest point. The QLED QN90A has a maximum brightness unsurpassed by any OLED panel and the blacks get close to the OLEDs but do not reach and the viewing angle is somewhat reduced.

LG OLED C1: Although there are some superior models, this is the best reasonably priced TV. An excellent TV in every aspect and compatible with everything. The TV that we would buy if we did not have a maximum budget.

There are a multitude of televisions on the market of all prices, we always advise to first choose a screen size and a maximum budget since this is what will limit what we can aspire to. These are for us the televisions that we would buy for an approximate price of £ 500-1000-1500

 Should I buy a 2021 QLED TV? Samsung presents QLED technology at its highest range, the brand's best televisions of the year are the QLED QN95A. These televisions range from the mid-range with the Q60A to the best of the moment capable of fighting with the OLEDs of other brands.

In this post we present all Samsung 2021 QLED televisions, although during this year some of their 2020 televisions are also still for sale that are good and you can find a price reduction: Samsung 2020 QLED range.

The main difference in 2021 between QLED TVs are QLED vs QNLED. The QN are the Neo QLED, which is the new name used by Samsung for its TOP range and which includes Mini LED technology.

Comparison of all Samsung QLED TVs 2021

The Samsung QN95A is the best 4K TV of the brand, an excellent TV and designed to compete with LG's OLEDs. Includes miniLED technology and OneConnect box, 4600 PQI, Micro Dimming Ultimate Pro and 70W of power. All 4 ports are HDMi 2.1

The Samsung QN90A is very similar but with Ultra Viewing Angle, Micro Dimming Ultimate, PQI 4500, Wide Viewing Angle and 60W instead of 70W.

The Samsung QN85A is the last one that includes miniLED technology, it does not have the Ultra Viewing Angle and the panel is ADS, something similar to LG's IPS panels. This TV is very different from the rest of the QLED range and we do not recommend it.

The Samsung Q80A is perhaps our favorite this 2021 among the QLEDs. A native 100Hz FALD ADS panel is what we ask of the good TVs of the moment, the only technical weak point for us is the 8-bit panel, but it should not be too important unless you are looking for the best of the best.

The Samsung Q75A and Samsung Q70A are the same, only the design changes. These models are inferior to the Q80A since the panel is EdgeLED instead of FALD, for us an important factor since we lose in uniformity and contrast, although it allows design with thinner panels. They keep the HDMI 2.1 port and the native 100Hz.

The Samsung Q60A is the simplest of the QLEDs, a native 50Hz EdgeLED panel, for us it is not worth paying for a QLED if we have the other low-end specifications instead. It is not a TV that we recommend.

Samsung Q50A is Samsung's new 32-inch bet with QLED technology. The resolution is FullHD instead of 4K. The best 32-inch TV of the year.

Veredict

As a conclusion we can summarize according to our personal experience and our tastes: that the best Samsung TV this year is the QLED Q80A, it is the television that we would buy ourselves, it includes the main advantages of the best TVs (although not all) at a reasonable price . If you are looking for a top top TV we would look for a TV with an OLED panel and if you are looking to spend less we would not pay what a QLED costs and we would look for Samsung's "classic" 4K televisions such as the AU8005 or the AU9005.

Differences Samsung QN90A vs QN95A

 The Samsung QN95A is the top model, although the QN90A is also very high-end, these are the two best 4K 2021 TVs from Samsung.

Differences between Samsung QN95A and Samsung QN90A

In imaging technologies the main difference is that the QN95A includes Ultra Viewing Angle, Micro Dimming Ultimate Pro and PQI 4600 while the QN90A includes PQI 4500, Wide Viewing Angle and Ultimate UHD Dimming. This means little in terms of PQI, something more important the PRO MicroDimming technology. The audio power is also higher: 70W instead of the 60W of the QN90A.

In extras the QN95A includes one more USB and Bluetooth 5.2 technology, which is superior, it also includes the One Connect Box and the 4 ports are HDMI 2.1

In design they ae the same but the QN90A is black black and the QN95A a slightly lighter carbon color.

Veredict:

Apart from the extras such as the Audio power, the bluetooth technology or the extra USB port that are only extras, the main difference is the OneConnect: especially important if you are going to hang it on the wall.

Difference LG OLED CX vs C1, which one to buy?

 LG OLED TVs are the best you can buy in 2021 TVs. The LG CX and LG C1 models are two of the most recommended.

They are two very similar televisions, the CX is the 2020 and the C1 is the 2021 update. The main difference is the Alpha 9 gen 4 processor, which allows content other than 4K to be scaled somewhat better, which is worth considering since most of the content is not in 4K.

These TVs feature the deepest blacks and a wide viewing angle, the maximum peak brightness is one of their weakest points and remains similar to the CX model. Connectivity is also maintained with 4 HDMI 2.1 inputs one with eARC / ARC support.

The design is almost identical and the Smart webOS has evolved little or nothing, more aesthetic than anything else.

Comparison LG C1 vs LG CX, which one to buy?

The C1 does not really offer a major change over the CX, the most notable is the new processor and the new evolution of WebOS 6.0. In terms of image quality, it is very good but there are no notable differences between the two televisions. Let's decide between the new or the old model: if you already have the CX, don't buy the C1, if you still find the CX in stores and you can save more than 150£ ahead with the CX 20202 model, if the price is similar then better buy the C1.

If you really want a better TV than the 2020 CX you should look for the LG OLED G1, which is more expensive. If you want a TV of the best and with the best value for money, both the C! like the CX they more than meet the highest expectations of any buyer.
