LG UB950V review 4K UHD in UK

The LG UB950V is a 2014 model 4K. This television offers the best SmartTV 2014, along with Samsung. The webOS system works really well: simple, clear, fast, ... In image quality, this TV offers a resolution Ultra HD (UHD) 3840x2160, which duplicates the detail of FullHD. Despite this, LG is betting on IPS panels and it shows lack of contrast, so if we see the TV in a bright room the image is excellent, but in dark rooms, do not get a good contrast. The MCI 1250Hz with a 200Hz panel, is a correct value, the images are flowing without ghosting effect. The sound is good, but far from the best 4K LED TV 2014. Inputlag measures are really exaggerated almost 100ms of input- lag.

Conclusion (verdict):

Our opinion on the LG UB950V 4K is not good, except for its great webOS Smart TV system. The television offers bad contrast and 3D. The sound and the price is acceptable. The SmartTV is excellent. With all this our advice is not to buy this TV, especially if you're gamer, because inputlag values are exaggerated. Our opinion is not good especially for the contrast, for 3D and Audio. The price is relatively low for 4K TV, but for the same price we recommend buying the Samsung 55HU7500 or Philips PFL7809.
