In this post we will try to explain what features should compare to buy a LED TV. The LED TV has many technical specifications, some misleading.
Also this year 2014 arrive Ultra Definition TVs, 4K TV. We expect to see the prices but for now we do not recommend buying these televisions still exorbitant price. It is advisable to buy a 4K TV in 2014?

If you want to buy a LED TV should look for the following features in the specifications.

Refresh Rate / Refresh Rate / HZ:
This specification is the most widely used to promote a LED TV. You have to be careful because the number of Hz that is not really the advertised "Refresh Rate". Each brand comes up with a name for the number of your TV Hz. Anyway the higher the number of Hertz better, but it is important to find the actual frequency to compare models. Screen Size:
The screen size is no doubt, the bigger the better. It should be clear that the input LED TV may look big but soon you regret not having bought a larger one. We suggest giving up other features in exchange for getting a bigger LED TV.

3D:

Both models are very similar. The main difference that we find is the consumption: The PFL3807 is Energy Label Class: A+ while the PFL3507 is Energy Label Class: A. The Brightness level is different too, 350 cd/m2 the PFL3807 and 400cd/m2 the PFL3507. The design is also different.

Conclusion (Verdict):

It's the low-end LED TV from Philips in 2012 but it incorporates features such as SmartTV, Wi-Fi Ready, ... In terms of technical features can not compare with the top models, anyway this model is a FullHD LED TV and it has well-connectivity, ...

Here are some differences between the models of Samsung ES8000 LED TV and Sony HX850 for those who are hesitating to buy LED TV for this 2012. Both models are the best LED TV Sony and Samsung.

What should I do to take care of my LED TV?

The LED TVs are already in all stores and increasingly in homes, but ..What should I do to take care of my LED TV? We point some important aspects that we consider to extend the life and quality of our new LED TV.

Temperature: Perhaps it is the first aspect to consider, along with moisture. Our LED TV shouldn't be in places with high or low temperatures (especially if wet). That means it is better to place it on a wall than on a glass window. You should put the LED TV away of the radiators. The most important brands advise that the operating temperature is between 10 and 40 ° C. Outside this range may cause malfunctions of the LED TV. Ideally 20-25 degrees.

Humidity: The humidity and liquids are the biggest enemy of all electronic Gadgets. This aspect is dificult to control, because anybody knows wich is the humidity, in%, of their home. You don't go crazy, only a little common sense is enough. The humidity recommended by manufacturers is between 10 and 85%.

Lighting: it isn't advisable the direct sun light for long time, can also influence the temperature and reflects.

Still images: we must avoid leaving still images on our LED TV more than 2 hours. The advice if we want to use the TV as a PC monitor you should lower the brightness, minimize the possible effects of burning, and activate the screen saver of your computer. Cleaning: the screen is perhaps one of the most delicate parts of our LED TV. That's why you should clean it periodically, you don't let it accumulate dust or stains. If not cleaned periodically, the cleaning will be more aggressive. Always use specific cleaning products.

We can improve care for our LED TV with other things: include voltage regulators that regulate voltage overshoot and especially be careful with the controls of Wii and PSMotion. We strongly recommend tying motion controls to the hands of your children. Then and finally an example that should not be done with a LED TV if you want to keep it properly.

The SONY LED TV model is a high-end model, but it isn't the best. The picture quality is good but Sony hasn't improved the LED TV for 2011, these are the same TV with some improvement in terms of extras and little else.
The Samsung LED TV model is the top model of the ES6000 series. We recommend this LED TV because, being the mid-range of Samsung for 2012,  it offers a very good image quality.

As for the differences between the two models, the Sony wins with 200Hz refresh rate while the Samsung has 100Hz real. The refresh rate indicates that images with fast moviminetos will be better in the Sony HX753 TV. The ES6800 has a higher contrast to Sony, and it is better equipped: Dual-Core, USB top, glasses included, ...
As for reflection and viewing angle both models are very similar, so we can declare a tie between these two models.

The best way for a good choise is that you go to a shop, you see the LED TV and decide which you like better. Always remember that the design is not diminished because we choose the LED TV that will decorate our livingroom for several years (or so we hope).

LG LM860V: Amazing LED TV with all the extras (UK 2012)

The LG LM860V is the best LCD-LED of LG for 2012 (exept LM960V NanoLED). This model is offered in two screen-sizes: 47 and 55in. The LM860V is similar to LM760T, but this model includes more extras as "voice control" or Dynamic Colour Enhancer, it has more  power consumption too. Another remarkable specification is the dual-core procesor, that improves web browser and the multitasking.

Samsung 40ES6900: The same model that ES6800 with only 3cm depth

For us, the conclusion can be only one. If you want a 3D TV the most modern and high quality without being outrageously expensive this is a great TV. What you need to decide is between the models Samsung ES6800 or ES6900. Must be evaluated if we pay extra for a TV with other design.

The difference between these two models is the  MCI: 400Hz while the top model is 800Hz. Another difference is that the LM760T includes 7 3D Glasses included (4 x 3D Glasses, 2 x Dual Play Glasses, 1 x Clip-on) while the lower model includes five 3D Glasses (4 x 3D Glasses, 1x Clip-on). Both models have a borderless design but with different cabinet color
