Panasonic AS640B: Good 2D&3D image quality

The Panasonic AS640B is a Smart TV 2014. This model has a good 2D image quality and 3D better than its direct rivals, like the Sony W828B. This model uses the Active 3D system, and doesn't include 3D ​​glasses. The Backlight Control technology get a good contrast values​​, with deep blacks. The fast moving images look very good because the panel is 200Hz and 1200Hz to the BLS. The SmartTV is not the highlight of this LED TV, which is worse than systems from LG and Samsung. The sound is not excellent.

Our opinion about the Panasonic AS640 is good, but not great. This TV has good picture quality in 2D and 3D, although not the best in its class. On the negative side we can say that the Smart TV is average and it has poor sound quality. Overall image quality should be the most important factor for choosing our TV. For the image based on quality 2D and 3D this is a recommended model. This isn't a TV recommended for gamers. If we are not convinced to buy the Panasonic AS640E, we recommend reviewing the Samsung H6500 (good Smart TV) or the Sony W829B (ideal gamers).
