Samsung Q70A Q75A: opinion QLED TV for Gamers

The Samsung QLED Q75A is a 2021 mid-range TV. This TV offers a correct picture with a native 100Hz EdgeLED VA panel. It provides a good image in general if we see it from the front, the uniformity and the brightness control is not high-end, it is rather low-end although the color is fine. The viewing angle is not wide, it is not the best TV for large dining rooms. The Samsung Q70A has 4K resolution and supports HDR10 and HDR10 + but the panel is 8-bit color depth. The Smart platform is Tizen 6.0, the same as for all Samsung 2021 TVs, one of the best if not the best. The Samsung Q70A is the same model with a different design.

The best: Smart, native 100Hz, price
The worst: EdgeLED, 8bits

Samsung Q80A: for us it is clearly better than the Q75A, better contrast although it is somewhat more expensive it is worth it.
Sony X90J: if you want to spend just enough but are looking for a good panel with good contrast.

Our opinion Samsung Q70A (veredict):

Our opinion on the Samsung Q75A/Q70A is not entirely good because being a rather expensive TV it maintains some of the characteristics of low-end televisions such as the EdgeLED panel, which for us would be a decisive aspect. On the other hand, if you can't raise your budget, there are no cheaper televisions that are clearly better. Our advice is to buy this T if you are going to see it from the front, in any lighting situation and for a varied use: cinema, Smart, video games, ... We recommend looking for the model one step higher than the Samsung Q80A, the difference The price does not reach 80£ in 55 inches and it is a better TV.
