Samsung QN85A Our opinion 2021

The Samsung QLED QN85A is a 2021 high-end TV with 4K resolution. This is the entry NeoQLED, with MiniLED backlight. The panel is ADS, something similar to the IPS that LG usually mounts, and that does not offer as much contrast as VA panels, although it improves the viewing angle, the native frequency is 100Hz. and the color depth of 10bits. As for connectivity, it includes the HDMI2.1 port ideal for gamers. Brightness in HDR offers great details and reflections are low so it looks good in any room lighting situation. The Smart TIZEN platform remains one of the best as ever. The audio level is good with 60W of power.

Our opinion Samsung QN85A (veredict):

Our opinion on the Samsung QN85A is good for a normal TV, but not great for a TV of this price. The improvements that Samsung presents in its high-end this year with its NeoQLED do not compensate for the lack of contrast of this TV compared to other TVs of the same price. As we say it is a great TV, but it should be excellent. A TV that is not the best for watching movies in the dark or playing games in a dimly lit room, for everything else the Samsung QN85A is excellent.
