Samsung Q60R: QLED cheaper 2019 (Q67R)

The Samsung Q60R is a mid-range television but with Samsung's best technology: QLED, it is 4K and compatible with most HDR formats (not with DolbyVision). This TV is the only one of the QLED 2019 with EdgeLED panel, that's why it's the cheapest too and it will be noticeable above all in large screen sizes where the uniformity is not as good as in FullArray screens. Its powerful processor allows you to scale low quality content to try to make it look like HD. The native frequency is 100Hz an ideal value, but in the 49in it is 50Hz and doesn't include Wide Viewing Angle, to improve the angle of vision, the truth is that the viewing angle is not disastrous, but to be able to enjoy all its fullness of colors is better to see it in front. The superior TV Q70R improves with the FullArray panel. Smart platform is good, the most compatible with all types of content and as a novelty is also compatible with Apple content.

The Samsung Q67R model is the same TV, with practically the same technical characteristics (PQI: 3100Hz). The difference is the silver color (metallic design) and its price is usually around £100 more expensive.

Our opinion Samsung 60R (veredict):

Our opinion about the Samsung Q60R is good if you are looking for a moderate price QLED, this is the entry television to the good televisions of the moment but we think that spending what it costs on a TV of less than 50 inches is not necessary, since the Unlike with televisions, QLED is small. It is in large sizes where we do see a real difference, thanks to FullArrray panels, and other technologies. The inputlag is low so it is also recommended for gamers. In definite we can present the QLED Q60R as one of the best or the best TV of 43 inches 2019 (although it is not necessary) or a TV of size 55-80 inches of a reasonable price and an average image quality. Better for movies or games that are not HDR, it lacks a bit of brightness, and better to see front.
