Panasonic AS740B: Not recommended LED TV 2014

The Panasonic AS740B is a SmartTV and 3D LED TV of 2014. This model has a correct system of SmartTV, but behind Samsung and LG. The 3D system is passive and is one of the best 3D 2014, the best among the passive models. The Panasonic AS740B provides 1200Hz BLS, although the panel is 100Hz. The panel technology is IPS and it does not include local dimming, so in low light environments the lack of constrast it shows.

Conclusion (verdict):

Our review of the Panasonic AS740B is not positive, it's a good TV but we believe that the failure contrast is too important for a TV of this price. Other aspects are not so negative, but must be paramount image quality. The IPS panel and the lack of local dimming make it inadvisable to see in dimly lit rooms. It is also not advisable for gamers due to its high input-lag.
